What makes Pakistani Manpower So Important?
Pakistan is rich in its diverse culture, customs, history and heritage, with major infrastructure projects funded by the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), improvements in energy supply, transportation, and private sector investment in different sectors, Pakistan’s GDP is growing rapidly for the last few years, and so is the quality of Manpower and availability of job opportunities in the local market.
As per the statistics by Economic Survey of Pakistan 17-18, 64% of Pakistanis are under 30 years of age out of a total population of 208 million which means an abundant supply of manpower for the local and overseas job market. There are 189 recognized Universities and 3580 Vocational Training Institutes in Pakistan providing a large number of Highly Skilled, Skilled, and Semi-Skilled Workforce and has been therefore a major source of high-quality manpower.(as per HEC & NVTEC)
Pakistan also exports manpower all over the world, especially to Saudi Arabia (KSA), United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, Libya, Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, Brunei, Mauritius, Europe and USA as more than 10 Million Pakistanis working overseas as per the statistics by the Bureau of Emigration, Govt. of Pakistan and are major source of remittance for the economy.
